The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using SAP SAC. We are seeking a results-driven SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and Dashboards Specialist to join our analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using SAP SAC. This role requires close collaboration with business users to understand reporting needs and deliver data-driven visual solutions that support business insights and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, design, and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze reporting and visualization requirements.
- Translate business requirements into effective SAC stories, dashboards, and models.
- Connect SAC to various data sources (live or import), including SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and non-SAP sources.
- Implement security, roles, and access control in SAC based on user groups and data confidentiality.
- Create custom calculations, KPIs, and data transformations within SAC models.
- Conduct testing and validation of dashboards to ensure data accuracy and performance.
- Provide end-user training and support on SAC reporting tools.
- Stay up to date with the latest SAP SAC features, best practices, and trends in data visualization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), including story/dashboard development.
- Strong understanding of data visualization principles and UI/UX best practices.
- Experience with SAP BW/4HANA, S/4HANA, and HANA views as data sources.
- Proficiency in data modeling and building calculation views.
- Solid understanding of data governance, performance tuning, and security.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- SAP SAC certification.
- Experience with Predictive Analytics and Planning features in SAC.
- Exposure to other BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum project environments.
