Senior Full Stack Developer

Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full-Stack .NET Developer to develop and enhance web-based applications for its consumer cards business. The role involves building robust, secure, and user-friendly enterprise applications using React, NEXT.js, .NET, and other modern technologies.

The ideal consultant will have 7+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly within financial services or other highly regulated industries. This is a hybrid role based in Sydney (50% in-office), offering a 12-month engagement.

Key Activities

• Web Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain consumer card web applications, ensuring a seamless user experience and alignment with best practices.
• Security & Compliance: Implement security measures, including encryption and authentication, to protect sensitive financial data.
• API Integration: Develop and manage APIs to enable real-time balance checks, transaction history, and card management.
• Version Control & Agile Collaboration: Work within an Agile team, participating in sprint planning, code reviews, and branch management to ensure high-quality and secure software releases.
• Cross-functional Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and security teams to align development efforts with business objectives.

Your Background

Essential:

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with expertise in React, NEXT.js, .NET, and API development.
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices and compliance requirements in financial services.
• Experience working in Agile environments with sprint planning and iterative development.
• Hands-on expertise in version control tools.

Desirable:

• Experience in banking, fintech, or other regulated industries.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in highly collaborative, cross-functional teams.
