The role is part of Biopharma Technical Development and will be based in Slovenia. Our aspiration is to be innovative in applying science to develop cell lines, technologies and processes that will enable production of high quality biosimilars. We are looking for a Scientist Downstream Process Development (d/f/m) with experiences in downstream process equipment and development of methods for protein isolation and purification.

Your Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Supporting the internal build of downstream process development capabilities.
- Supporting downstream process development and characterization.
- Planning, execution and interpretation of development experiments and preparation of relevant documentation for timely support of biosimilar drug substance development.
- Preparation of development documentation for process transfer from/to internal or external partners, and support of registration documentation preparation.
- Supporting evaluation, development and implementation of new technologies, and knowledge exchange.
- Development and mentoring of associates.
- High level of integrity and proactive collaboration in local and global teams.
- Professional degree in Biotechnology, Biology, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering or other related Life sciences / Biotechnology field.
- Fluency in oral and written English.
- Functional knowledge of statistical design of experiments and data analysis.
