We are currently looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our client who is a biotech company specializing in bioinformatics solutions for rare diseases and cancer, leveraging Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) data.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent disciplines
• 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Proficiency in Python, Django, Django Rest Framework, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Vue.js for UI development.
• Familiarity with databases like Postgres SQL, MongoDB, and ElasticSearch.
• Strong problem-solving skills, especially in R&D-driven environments.
• Ability to manage workloads and deliver tasks within deadlines.
• Knowledge of Nextflow and Slurm is a plus.
• Good command of English.

What will you do?

The position will not require bioinformatics knowledge but will involve pure software development. The candidate will be responsible for building and enhancing biological data analysis UIs (Vue.js) and the corresponding API backends using Python, Django, and Django Rest Framework.

• Develop and enhance UI components for biological data analysis using Vue.js.
• Design and build robust API backends with Python, Django, and Django Rest Framework.
• Collaborate closely with the software team to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Ensure timely delivery of tasks and projects, meeting all deadlines.
• Participate in research and development activities, solving complex software challenges.
