Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of cutting-edge digital solutions across IoT, Smart Cities, and Smart Parks. This role requires deep technical expertise across Azure Cloud, DevOps, IoT platforms, and full-stack development using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a hands-on problem solver, and an effective stakeholder communicator.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect end-to-end technical solutions for IoT and Smart City/Park initiatives, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Define and drive the adoption of best practices in SDLC, DevOps, and cloud-native development using Azure and GitLab.
  • Lead the design and implementation of web and mobile applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.
  • Integrate IoT platforms like Cumulocity or similar, including managing IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP, LwM2M, etc.) and device management.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.
  • Create and maintain architectural documentation, system diagrams, and data flow models.
  • Support the development and integration of smart infrastructure projects (e.g., environmental sensors, smart lighting, smart mobility).
  • Lead mobile application development for iOS and Android platforms (e.g., with React Native).
  • Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and industry-specific standards.
  • Mentor engineering teams and drive innovation across the tech stack.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with 2+ years in architecture or technical leadership roles.
  • Proven experience in Azure Cloud architecture and services (IoT Hub, Functions, App Services, Cosmos DB, Application Gateway, Firewall, Kubernetes, Azure AD, AD B2C, Front Door, PostgreSQL, Notification Hub, Communication Services, ARM Templates etc.,).
  • Strong expertise in DevOps practices, CI/CD, and pipeline automation using GitLab.
  • Design and deploy CMS architectures leveraging Strapi (self-hosted and serverless), integrating content workflows into broader digital platforms.
  • Solid understanding of IoT architecture, edge computing, and device-to-cloud communication.
  • Hands-on experience with IoT Platforms.
  • Full-stack development background with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Node.js.
  • Experience in SQL and NoSQL and general database design and optimization.
  • Knowledge of IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP, LwM2M, HTTP).
  • Strong grasp of the software development lifecycle (Agile, Scrum).
  • Act as technical lead across SDLC stages—from concept and design through to implementation and support.
  • Experience in mobile application development (React Native or similar) and deployment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as Azure Solution Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure IoT Developer, or related.
  • Background in Smart City, urban mobility, or public infrastructure technology projects.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML integration, IoT analytics, and real-time data processing.
  • Knowledge of serverless architecture, API gateway design, and microservices best practices.
