Your Day-to-Day

Here's what you'll be doing in your day-to-day work:

• Managing and improve team performance, delegating tasks and providing career development feedback
• Lead technical conversations and strategic planning
• Drive the execution of important projects
• Contribute to building a world-class news consumption experience
• Partner with product teams to manage scope and deliverables, focus on high-impact projects

Must-have Skills

• Expert in either Android or iOS native mobile development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Swift and/or atest tech, jet pack, Kotlin
• Familiarity with data structures, system design, and design patterns
• Proficiency in API design, MVVM, declarative UI, Git, and DevOps
• Full-stack background is a plus, with familiarity in cloud services, GraphQL, Firebase, etc.
• Passion for news and creativity in introducing new ideas and technologies
• Passion and experience building web-based technology products or applications
• Strong communication skills in English
• This position is based in BCN on a hybrid mode (3 days per week at the office)

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
• Strong experience in working directly with clients
• Passion for news and creativity in introducing new ideas and technologies
• Background in journalism is advantageous
