This is a critical, high-impact position requiring demonstrated excellence in enterprise IT project delivery within complex industrial environments.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical field
• Minimum 10 years of post-degree experience in IT, with a strong focus on large enterprise environments
• Minimum 7 years of project management experience in the Oil & Gas industry — strictly required
• Proven success delivering at least 2 end-to-end IT projects with individual project value of $500,000+ USD
• PMP certification (Project Management Professional) from PMI
• Deep understanding of PMBOK project management methodologies and formal project governance processes
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and outsourced vendors
• Proficiency in Enterprise Portfolio Management (EPM) tools, MS Project, and project documentation standards
• Working knowledge of tendering procedures, vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, and SLA enforcement
• Experience with adaptive (Agile) project methods and relevant tooling
• Fluent in English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills suitable for executive-level reporting
  
  

The Ideal Candidate Will Be Able To

• Own and drive complex IT initiatives end-to-end, with full accountability over scope, time, budget, quality, and value delivery
• Rigorously manage project governance including requirement documentation, scope control, risk management, and lifecycle phase gate reviews
• Lead structured business analysis and functional workshops, translating business needs into formal project scope and detailed technical designs
• Identify, mitigate, and track project risks/issues with precision, escalation discipline, and strong stakeholder alignment
• Operate independently with minimal supervision, using sound judgment, discipline, and a proactive approach
• Deliver consistent, measurable value to internal customers, meeting the strict demands of a high-compliance industry
• Support high-impact transformation and change initiatives, aligning IT with operational excellence

• Postgraduate qualification (MBA, MSc, etc.)
• Agile/Scrum certification (CSM, SAFe)
• Business Analysis certification (CBAP, PMI-PBA)
