We are looking for a creative and experienced User Interface (UI) & Visual Designer to work with our Iress Design System (IDS) team and product designers. You will help to bring low to mid fidelity design concepts to life and produce high fidelity designs using the IDS. We are looking for a UI designer who has experience working with design systems for large SaaS enterprise products; this includes creating, tweaking editing and updating the design system as well as building out templates. In a collaborative manner, you will work with engineers to ensure that we create modern looking products, that are feasible, in line with the IDS, ‘on trend’ and excite the people developing and customers using our products. Not only will you have demonstrable experience working with and using design systems, but you will have a firm understanding of colour theory, visual hierarchy principles, and current UI design trends for different form factors (mobile, desktop, touch).

Some of the amazing things you’ll be involved in:

• Design high-quality user interfaces by working closely with product designers, taking their design concepts and using the IDS to produce implementable designs by engineers
• Ensure design quality is "built-in" following best practice human centered design and Iress’ design playbook
• Participate and provide quality input into any requirements or analysis of solutions, features or non-functional requirements
• Ensure any key person risk is minimised by working with others and appropriately documenting decisions and outcomes
• Foster and develop strong working relationships with the wider product design and design system group, as well as other creative/visual designers within the company
  
  

What You Will Bring

• Proven and demonstrable experience using design systems and software systems such as Figma.
• Experience working within a team (including other designers and front end engineers) on a single software product or component
• Will test the status quo and enjoys thinking about and implementing innovative ways to solve problems
