What will your typical day look like?

In this role, you will engage directly with high profile public and private sector clients on nation building endeavours - addressing and solving their priority programmatic, organisational and operational related problems. You will also:

• Work with a high performing team with a strong commitment to excellence in pursuit of helping our clients drive profitability and performance business issues by addressing and solving their priority operational problems
• Designing engagements including project plans, stakeholder engagement activity and hypothesis development for problem solving
• Ability to present key findings to stakeholders, obtaining buy-in from proposed recommendations and lead engagement sessions
• Building and maintaining a network of relationships across peers and senior leaders at Deloitte both from Australia as well as regionally/globally
• Work on some of the most challenging and inspiring private and public sector programs across Defence and Government clients
• Draw on Deloitte’s unique capabilities in Structured Problem Solving, Design thinking, Digital, Data Analytics, Deloitte Access Economics, and experience from our global consulting network
• Undertake operations transformation focused training and development (both structured and on the job) with the opportunity to experience borderless careers through international assignments and secondments
• Provide team leadership mentoring and coaching of junior staff
• Get creative with contributions to the Deloitte practice to help us build a better, stronger internal culture and give back to our communities

About The Team

Our Deloitte Program and Capital Project Delivery team have strong problem-solving capabilities, and deep industry insights (global and local) to help us achieve the optimal outcomes for our clients. You will be a member of a diverse team which helps shape the direction of a business, design and execute transformation programs, improve organisational and operational performance through meaningful interventions.

We bring our clients on the journey, helping them accelerate and unlock strategic and commercial value as their partners in innovation-led transformation. We can see where they need to go, and work with them to design and implement the path forward, powered by the best emerging and proven technology and analytical insights, to help them get there.

In response to strong client demand for our services, we are seeking a Manager to join our Program and Capital Project Delivery team in Perth. We encourage anyone who possesses the following experience and skills, regardless of background, to apply:

• Motivated professional with more than 5 years of industry experience
• Thrives in collaborative environments and has experience leading and mentoring small teams with a passion to develop others as well as self
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to build strong relationships with a range of clients
• Strong facilitation skills for large groups of people that are adaptable for different situations and communications styles
• Has experience conducting analysis (desktop research, data analysis, reviewing documents etc.) and synthesising into digestible and insightful outputs (e.g. reports)
• Experience in contributing to business development and client pursuit activities by preparing proposals and presentations for potential clients
• Curiosity to learn and proactivity to bring forward ideas
• An ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 Security Clearance
