DevSecOps / Automation Engineer – Hybrid (Antwerp)
We're currently looking for a DevSecOps Engineer with strong automation experience to join a collaborative and forward-thinking engineering team. This is an opportunity to contribute to robust DevOps infrastructure, support internal teams, and play a pivotal role in delivering secure, scalable software systems.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for deployment, system health monitoring, and task automation using tools like Ansible, Terraform, Bash, or Python.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar, ensuring smooth and reliable deployments across various environments.
- Manage cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP), focusing on cost efficiency, scalability, and performance.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, and operations teams to promote best practices for deployment, observability, and security.
- Set up and manage monitoring and logging systems with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and more.
- Help enforce security and compliance standards, including access controls and secret management.
What You Bring:
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tooling and practices in environments using Java or .NET technologies.
- Solid understanding of cloud environments (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Experience installing, configuring, and integrating development tools like Kubernetes, Kafka, Elastic Stack, SonarQube, and RedHat OpenShift.
- Comfortable working with APIs to link tools and automate workflows.
- Experience with Kong API Gateway is a bonus.
- A proactive mindset and eagerness to explore and adopt new technologies.
