IT Analyst

IT Analyst Contract Role, Cork (Hybrid 2-3 days onsite)

My Client is looking for an experienced IT Analyst to join their team.

The Job:

• Leads, participates in and delivers compute and operations projects as required.
• The incumbent will be responsible to delivering key aspect to a site critical project.
• Communicates to relevant IT and Business stakeholders on project delivery.
• Manage Third Party Vendors
• Complete Large data migration using approved third party tools to an approved solution e.g. One Drive, Shared Point
• Knowledge of SharePoint and permissions
• Knowledge of AD permissions and file share permissions
• Knowledge of shared drive structure and permissions
• Windows Server Knowledge and vCentre knowledge, ESx and virtual environments
• Expertise with Backup and recovery tools
• Expertise in storage
• Experience writing Knowledge based articles
• Experience arching data that is no longer required
• Knowledge of security assessment tools
• Experience applying permissions to folders and sub-folders
• Strong stakeholder engagement
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Liaise with other members of the Cork technology team as required

Have you:

• Strong history in Compute Operations with 5+ years' experience
• In-depth technical knowledge and integration experience is required across Compute & Security technologies.
• Degree/Masters in related area or relevant industry experience
• Previous experience collaborating, building relationships across multiple teams and vendors
• Broad technical capability as well as excellent communicator
• Well organized and strong ability to multi-task and reprioritize work regularly
• Excellent verbal, written communication skills and presentation skill
• End to end ownership; act as owner by taking a holistic approach to solutions scoping and problem solving and actively driving collaboration across functions
• Ability to engage and influence across business functions
