What makes the PM role at Refined unique?

This role is about leading a change, ensuring that our product provides value and simplicity for our customers. You’ll have the autonomy to lead discovery efforts, turn challenges into opportunities and create intuitive user experiences for diverse use cases. You will have a direct line to our customers and partners, providing unique insights into their needs and how our product can evolve to meet them. Unlike some similar PM roles that may be restricted by tight feature roadmaps, at Refined, we believe in empowering our Product Managers with the freedom to explore, innovate, and solve customer problems. Your day-to-day will be varied, engaging with different teams, talking to customers, and even shaping the product strategy.

Your responsibilities in a nutshell

• Lead in identifying and planning strategic opportunities, ensuring solutions align with customer needs and product vision. Promote continuous product discovery to foster an iterative approach towards achieving outcomes.
• Ensure team OKRs align with organizational goals through collaboration with other teams and stakeholders. Communicate the significance of your team member's work in relation to business, user needs, and company objectives.
• Facilitate seamless cooperation among PM, Design, and Engineering teams to create solutions that are usable, feasible, and valuable. Keep stakeholders updated on product progress, strategy shifts, and address risks or issues promptly.
• Create and manage a backlog for short/mid-term features and enhancements, prioritizing based on customer value and business impact. Ensure the product roadmap is in sync with internal team goals and Head of Product strategies.
  
  

Your goals and milestones in your first year

In 3 Months

• Acquire an overall understanding of the Refined products, identifying key areas for improvement and aligning with the broader vision for Refined.
• Begin fostering smooth collaboration with Engineering and Design teams, establishing when and how to involve them in decision-making processes.
  
  

In 6 Months

• Develop a deeper understanding of Refined as a product company, identifying synergies across products.
• Work closely with the Design and Engineering teams to address and solve customer problems, ensuring solutions are in line with our strategic vision.
  
  

In 12 Months

• Demonstrate a clear ability to prioritize initiatives based on viability, feasibility, and usability within the context of Refined, moving us closer to our vision.
• Implement significant improvements for Refined as a solution builder, that enhance customer satisfaction while driving growth and engagement metrics.

Practicalities, benefits and salary

• The salary in this role ranges between 45000-65000 SEK depending on your seniority, experience and know-how. This role is based in our Malmö office.
• Our work is built to be hybrid with team members in different countries. However our Product Management team is based in Malmö and typically works 2-3 days a week in the office. We are looking for candidates who are able to be in the Malmö office 2-3 days a week.
• Twice a year we gather as a whole company to build in-person relationships.
