User Experience Designer

UX/UI Designer

Full-time – Rome, Italy

THE ROLE

We’re looking for a UX/UI Designer (junior/mid) to join our Product Design team. This person will work hybrid from our Rome office (Flaminio area), under the guidance of a Senior UX Designer, helping improve our products, contribute to design documentation, and collaborate closely with our developers.

LOCATION: Rome / Hybrid

EXPERIENCE: 1–3 years in the role or equivalent portfolio

LANGUAGES: English & Italian

MUST-HAVE SKILLS

• Knowledge of UX practices and methodologies: HCD approaches, usability heuristics, user research methods, and experience-driven design principles.
• Strong design sense: keen eye for detail, up to date with the latest UI trends, best practices, and methods to ensure visual consistency and cohesive user experiences.
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills: comfortable tackling complex contexts and processes through a structured and innovative approach.
• Advanced Figma skills: building components, design system, functional prototypes.
• Solid documentation & organizational skills: ability to keep design files and design documentation well-organized
• Working-level English & Italian (written and spoken)
• Good presentation and communication skills
• A collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment

NICE-TO-HAVES

• Experience working with complex and technical digital products, such as dashboards, analytics tools, or expert user interfaces
• Interest or experience in digital accessibility
• Experience collaborating with development teams
• Experience writing technical documentation (e.g., guidelines, product specs, developer handoff)
• Familiarity with tools like Storybook, Zeroheight, or similar
