DevOps Engineer – HFT Prop Trading Firm

Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join their growing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining robust build systems and deployment pipelines, supporting development and QA teams to improve automation, scalability, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage automation tools and systems for software builds and deployments.
• Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support fast, efficient, and reliable releases.
• Collaborate across teams to optimize build and deployment processes.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to build environments and deployment systems.
• Continuously improve scripts and infrastructure related to configuration and automation.
• Promote best practices in infrastructure and pipeline management.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven background in a DevOps or similar engineering role within a trading environment.
• Hands-on experience with:
• CI/CD platforms (such as GitLab, GitHub Actions, or similar).
• Git or other version control systems.
• Scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Docker and orchestration tools (like Kubernetes or Nomad).
• Linux-based systems.
• Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform is a plus).
• Build tools such as Maven or Make (preferred).
• Strong communicator and effective team collaborator.
• Solutions-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude.
