Java Software Engineer

Role: Java Developers (3 Positions – Various Levels)

Location: Oslo

Language Requirements: Fluent Norwegian (or similar) & Fluent English

We are looking for three Java-focused Software Engineers to join the digital innovation department of a large public service organization.

The department's development projects' primary focus is on security and data protection, adhering to best practices and leveraging top open-source technologies to ensure the highest level of security across our IT infrastructure and application ecosystem.

Open Positions:

1) Junior/Mid-Level Java Full-Stack Developer (Business Services Team)

Experience: 1+ year

Skills Required:

• Java programming skills
• React/TypeScript experience
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

2) Mid/Senior Java Full-Stack Developer (Business Services Team)

Experience: 3+ years

Skills Required:

• Strong Java programming skills
• Software architecture knowledge
• Some frontend experience (React)

3) Senior Java Full-Stack Developer (End-User Functionality Team)

Experience: 5+ years

Skills Required:

• Strong Java/Kotlin skills
• Strong backend and software architecture expertise
• Familiarity with web development (React/TypeScript)
• Leadership potential – opportunity to become a tech lead
• Passion for knowledge sharing and team development
