What are must and good to have skills? – P1 (Juniper Routing, Juniper Switching Juniper Firewall), P2 (Cisco & Aruba Devices).

Years of exp? : 2-4 years

Which CGI Office Locations are we open to? : Bangalore, Chennai

Shift timings? : 24/7 (Rotational)

• Should have hands on experience in , any hardware and software issues like switch issues, router issues LAN wan connectivity issues ,Troubleshoot Network Outages and Understand NW Logs ,Working knowledge of Small, Medium or Large Scale NW Switches etc.
• Good knowledge -on experience with Linux Server Configuration, Firewall Setup, VPN Setup, LAN, WLAN. (Mandatory).
• Experience in LAN (Switching), WAN (Routing).
• VTP ,Spanning tree, STP"
• Concept of DNS and DHCP
• Good in tools – Solar wind, PRTG, Whatsup gold, HPNA
• Basic understanding of UPS
• Responsible for the planning of the roll-out process and sequence of new systems and platforms
• Must also prepare standard instructions and Checklists for installation of packages.
• Should be customer centric.
• Providing a positive image of the company through your role being a point of contact with onshore team/customer.
• To ensure that all is work carried out in accordance with ITIL Incident Management guidelines
• Should be able to follow the ticketing process according to the change request phases that are defined.
• Add value to your team environment by being enthusiastic and maintaining a Positive attitude.
• To achieve all team and personal performance goals as defined by the company
• Ensure tickets assigned to the queue are accepted and worked on time
• Monitor 'open' Change tickets
• Adhere to ISO9000 and ISO27001 procedures
• Ensure that your individual training record is kept up to date.
