Job Description

What’s the role?

As a Full Stack Engineer in the Digital & Consumer Finance technology team, you will work in a dynamic, agile environment, driving transformation in areas such as cards, payments, compliance, wallets, and tokens. Your responsibilities include designing, building, maintaining and testing our technology, collaborating with stakeholders and supporting the broader engineering community.

Your role will involve:

  • Design and develop user interfaces for customer-facing applications using Java, React JS, Redux.
  • Write clean, modular, maintainable code using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
  • Application performance and optimization.
  • Develop responsive designs with reusable and scalable UI components to ensure a seamless user experience across devices.
  • Utilize strong problem-solving and debugging skills to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Adhere to accessibility standards and best practices in UI development to ensure applications are usable by all individuals.
  • Collaborate with service owners to understand requirements and convert them into technical user stories.

What do I need?

  • Excellent analysis and design skills with strong technical problem-solving abilities.
  • Expertise in Java, React JavaScript, Redux and Node JS, HTML and CSS3
  • Experience with Spring Boot and Restful API.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Bit, Bitbucket, Jenkins or Bamboo.
  • Previous experience mentoring and coaching junior developers in a complex environment.
