Product Designer (Long-Term Contract)

We’re working with one of our long-standing clients — a forward-thinking digital company building impactful solutions across education, health, and human services. Their product is already making a measurable difference for thousands of users, and with new initiatives underway, they’re expanding their team with a Product Designer on a long-term contract basis

If you're a senior designer who enjoys ownership, loves research-led design, and thrives in cross-functional teams, this is a unique opportunity to do deeply meaningful work without being tied to permanent employment.

The Opportunity

As the team scales, you'll be a key player in shaping experiences that are simple, accessible, and rooted in real user needs. You’ll be embedded in a small, collaborative squad and work closely with product, research, and engineering to deliver thoughtful, elegant solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• End-to-end design on feature initiatives – from framing problems through to final UI.
• Leading user research including interviews, testing, and insight synthesis.
• Designing clean, accessible, and responsive interfaces using Figma.
• Contributing to and evolving the design system and visual language.
• Presenting your work confidently to stakeholders and advocating for the user.
• Collaborating closely with engineers to bring your designs to life.

We’re Looking for Someone Who…

• Brings 5+ years of experience in Product/UX Design.
• Has a portfolio that shows their ability to solve problems, not just ship screens.
• Is confident leading discovery and validating ideas with users.
• Has deep experience with Figma, prototyping, and design systems.
• Thrives in environments with autonomy and can manage their own delivery.
• Enjoys working in an agile setup and bringing ideas to life quickly and iteratively.

Bonus Skills (Not Required)

• Background in education, health tech, or service design.
• Strong eye for visual design and brand alignment.
