IT Project Manager (R&D Center)

IN THIS JOB YOU WILL:

• Managing the complete life cycle of projects, including initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing of projects to ensure planned results and achieved on time and budget
• Primary point of contact for the project and will be responsible for providing regular project update to all project stakeholders, as well as serving as the initial point of contact for all project-related escalations
• Analyse and translate business requirements to system specification for the new applications and projects
• Develop and deploy Artifical Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Optimization, and other related technologies aligned with stake holders, business units and the regional teams
• Ensure R&D and funding program solutions are created, aligned and documented in time and in quality according to the business and IT program/project priorities
• Ensure that R&D and new technology solutions are up and running according to the Service Level Agreement
• Plan and coordinate the R&D processes that advances the strategy for AI and ML across the enterprise
• Ensuring the submission of academic publications to the literature
• Applying for European Union Consortiums, local technology and industry ministry funding programs within the company strategy
• Management for the application of patent, trademark and utility model registration certificates with R&D projects
• Ensuring the submission of academic publications to the literature
• Monitor performance of R&D products and determine improvement areas
• Supporting Regulation processes based on the industry and technology ministry and periodic reporting
• Give on-call support for systems under responsibility whenever needed

YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Preferably university degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS or other related fields
• Able to work in a hybrid work model at the Istanbul Airport (IGA) Headquarters
• Minimum 3 years of related IT experience
• Good command of English, both written & verbal
• Good command of Turkish, both written & verbal
• Strong analytical and problem solving and quantitative analysis skills
• Experienced with relational databases especially SQL Server
• Experienced with AI, ML and related data sciences
• Experienced with R&D Center processes, project management and funding programs management
• Good knowledge of MS office applications, SharePoint and basic software knowledge
• Good knowledge of MS Project or other project management tools
• Self-motivated and result oriented
• Comfortable communication with diverse individuals inside and outside the organization
• Teamwork oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work under challenging circumstances and environment
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks, changing priorities and meet deadlines
