Role Overview

Globant is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with expertise in Azure and Kubernetes to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge DevOps solutions and collaborate with top-tier professionals globally. The position supports a fully remote work arrangement, providing flexibility and work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage scalable, reliable cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure.
Develop and maintain Kubernetes clusters for deploying applications and services.
Ensure system security by employing best practices in DevOps workflows and security protocols.
Automate processes for application deployment and infrastructure management.
Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to integrate DevOps methodologies into all phases of the software lifecycle.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues.
Contribute to Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes and assist in enhancing application efficiency.

Skills Required

Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps roles with strong focus on cloud solutions.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Azure services and platforms.
Comprehensive experience managing and orchestrating Kubernetes clusters.
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent.
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM Templates.
Solid scripting skills, including proficiency in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Fluency in English or proven communication skills in English (B2 or higher).

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience working in Agile environments.
Familiarity with additional cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Knowledge in network configurations and security practices.
Strong advocate of DevOps principles and best practices in system architecture.
