Network Engineer

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Thorough knowledge on advanced TCP/IP concepts, switching, routing protocols Layer 2, Layer 3 protocols. Should have expertise in Designing, Configuring, installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and optimizing in Cisco WAN Routing

• Strong understanding of designing and implementing Quality of Service desirable
• Understandings of DCI (Data Center Interconnect)
• Strong understanding of MPLS, BGP, EIGRP, Multicast, DWDM, SONET, Metro Ethernet, WAN network design, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Strong understanding of DMVPN, IPSec VPN etc.
• Ability to design a Large Scale Enterprise Network using Cisco recommended best practices
• Ability to facilitate the technical designs and architecture discussion with clients, excellent communications and writing skills required

Education/Training

• Bachelor's degree in technical discipline preferred or equivalent experience required
• Cisco certifications are desirable
