We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Network Administrator to manage, secure, and optimize our organization’s network and IT infrastructure.

  • The role requires deep technical expertise in LAN/WAN environments, perimeter and endpoint security, and systems administration, with additional knowledge of virtualization, cloud, and storage technologies being highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and manage LAN/WAN networks, including STP, trunking, VLANs, VPCs, and PortChannel technologies using Cisco and HPE equipment.
  • Administer and secure perimeter networks through firewalls (VDOMs, VPN SSL, SD-WAN, Security Profiles, Security Fabric, and IPSec VPNs) using Fortinet and Watchguard.
  • Oversee endpoint security solutions, primarily with Sophos.
  • Conduct infrastructure performance analysis, troubleshoot network/system issues, and implement solutions to prevent recurring problems.
  • Provide support and maintenance for storage systems (NetApp), operating systems (Windows, Linux), and core Windows services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, ADFS, WSUS).
  • Work with virtualization platforms such as VMware and Citrix (Horizon View).
  • Administer data backup and recovery processes using tools like Commvault and Veeam.
  • Support and manage hybrid and cloud-based environments across Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
  • Document procedures and maintain high standards of network and system reliability and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information clearly in both English and Catalan.
