DevOps Engineer

My client in the iGaming industry is looking for an ambitious DevOps/Platform Engineer/Site Reliability Engineer to join their fast-growing company in Tallinn, Estonia offering the chance to work on innovative infrastructure solutions in a modern, international environment.

💰 Salary

Mid level: 3 to 5 years of experience - €60k to €70k gross/year

Senior level: 6+ years of experience - €70k to 80k gross/year

In this role, you will have the opportunity to focus on designing and implementing effective solutions for software delivery and operations by streamlining and automating processes.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Designing and implementing robust, automated systems that streamline software integration, deployment, and delivery
• Developing scalable backend solutions tailored for high-traffic platforms
• Collaborating with multiple teams to troubleshoot infrastructure and automation challenges
• Championing DevOps best practices and driving ongoing improvements across development pipelines
• Working hands-on with modern cloud-native technologies in a dynamic, agile setting

Skills and Experience We’re Looking For:

• 4+ years of experience as a DevOps, Platform Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer.
• Solid experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP or Azure)
• Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and microservice architecture.
• Experience with scripting and programming languages such as Bash, Python, or GoLang.
• Familiarity with GitOps tools (like ArgoCD or FluxCD)
• Good understanding of TLS protocols and Secrets Management tools (e.g., HashiCorp Vault)
• Background working with distributed systems and microservices
• Experience using Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Terragrunt, or Crossplane)
• Practical experience with monitoring stacks like Prometheus/Grafana.
• Experience with CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
• Good working knowledge of PostgreSQL or similar SQL-based databases

Nice-to-Haves (We’re Happy to Train You On These!):

• Experience with Strimzi (Kafka Operator for Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of StackGres (PostgreSQL Operator for Kubernetes)
• Previous exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
