Frontend Engineer – Berlin

About the Role:

We’re looking for a Full Stack Engineer with strong frontend expertise and a deep sense of ownership. The technical systems you build integrate human judgement + LLM based reasoning to deliver best-in-class performance for online content understanding and beyond. Your work is critical to enable efficient experimentation, as well as product deployment on our cloud based infrastructure.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and wants to help define both the product and the technical direction of our platform. While you'll work across the stack, this role will be frontend-heavy, focused on building rich, performant, and intuitive interfaces that help users take action on complex, large-scale safety data.

You’ll join a small, mission-driven team where your contributions have a direct impact on real-world issues.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the development of user-facing applications using React and modern frontend tooling
• Build clean, scalable backend services using Python (e.g., FastAPI, Django, Flask) as needed
• Design and implement intuitive interfaces for analysts and reviewers working on online safety
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and ML teams to ship impactful features quickly
• Own projects from start to finish and proactively identify opportunities for improvement
• Drive best practices in frontend architecture, performance, and testing
  
  

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of professional experience in software development
• Deep expertise in React and Typescript and frontend application architecture
• Solid backend experience with Python and relevant frameworks
• Strong UX sensibility and attention to detail in UI implementation
• Comfort working independently in ambiguous or fast-changing environments
• A collaborative mindset and passion for mission-driven work
