AI Engineer

Software development is no longer about writing code. Today’s world is fueled and driven by data. That is why we’re looking for an experienced AI Engineer to join our AI-powered search and recommendation platform and occasionally contribute to providing consultancy service and advice to our other internal and external projects.

You would be an early-stage contributor with a unique possibility to build and shape the future direction of both the product and the company!

What you’ll work on:

• Search & Retrieval: Develop and optimize AI-powered search algorithms for relevance ranking, query expansion, and intent recognition.
• Model Development: Design and fine-tune machine learning and deep learning models for semantic search, vector embeddings, and personalization.
• Data Pipeline: Analyze and preprocess data, perform feature engineering, and leverage CTR analysis to improve search and recommender systems.
• Recommendation Systems: Implement and optimize recommendation engines using user behavior analytics, ranking models, and engagement metrics.
• Production Deployment: Deploy models to production, ensuring they are scalable, robust, and high-performing.
• Testing & Evaluation: Design and run A/B testing strategies to evaluate and improve model impact.
• Collaboration: Work closely with backend engineers to integrate AI models into our GoLang-based middleware and other micro services
• Continuous Learning: Keep up with the latest AI, NLP, and search/recommendation technologies to drive ongoing improvements.

What we expect you to bring:

• Core AI/ML Expertise: Proven experience in AI/ML, especially NLP and information retrieval.
• Python Proficiency: Strong Python skills (familiarity in libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Hugging Face is a plus)
• SQL Knowledge: Solid SQL skills (PostgreSQL familiarity is a plus).
• RAG Experience: Experience creating Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)-based search systems is a plus.
• Large Datasets: Comfortable working with large data sets and analytics data.
• A relevant theoretical background in maths and experience working with user behavior and engagement metrics for search and recommendation systems would be considered a huge advantage.

• Competitive monthly salary: €2650 - €5500 gross (depending on your experience and skills). Only candidates with relevant experience could expect compensation in the upper range of the salary.
