We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Machine Learning Engineer. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about staying on the cutting edge of machine learning technology and thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment where you shape the way to solve a given problem.

Job Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with business analysts during the requirement definition stage to make sure the business requirements can be implemented in our platform.
• Work day-to-day in a multi-functional team to build and extend machine learning libraries and frameworks to be used in scalable customer facing web applications.
• Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, designers, and analysts
• Deliver testable, maintainable, and high-quality code
• Monitor, test, and continuously optimize our Machine Learning models.
• Ensure that our user experience is the very best it can be
• Share knowledge, promote best practices, and collaborate with some of the best Machine Learning engineers in the company
• Collaborate with key internal stakeholders
• Employ impeccable analytical and problem-solving abilities to tackle complex challenges in the Machine Learning and AI domains
• Regularly update knowledge with the latest trends and developments in the machine learning industry.
• Work effectively with minimal supervision and a proven ability to align data infrastructure with business goals.
  
  

What You’ll Bring To The Party (Must Haves)

• Minimum 1 year work experience
• Fundamentals: Statistics and Probability, Machine Learning algorithms, Data Science practices.
• Advanced Degree: A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field.
• Proven experience with Large Language Models, RAG, fine-tuning, embeddings, and vector databases.
• Proficiency with OpenAI API, LangChain, and prompt engineering is essential.
• Skilled in API integration with various providers and enhancing customer experience.
• Deep familiarity with data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL. R is considered a plus as well.
• Competency in data visualization using R, Python libraries, Tableau, PowerBI, or similar tools.
• Proficiency in using version control tools such as Git.
• Strong ability to understand business needs, data gathering, clear communication, and incorporating feedback.
• Experience analyzing a feature in production using analytics and experiments.
• Experience in applying machine learning models to solve real-world problems.
  
  

You’ll thrive in this role if you're someone (Great to have)

• Experience working in startups
• Experience with cloud services such as AWS and Azure.
• Experience with Redis
• Databricks platform experience will be considered is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of the automotive industry is a plus.
• Experience with writing, releasing, and working in large distributed systems, deep learning or/and natural language processing is a big plus.
• Understanding of the fundamentals of machine learning and NLP, with the ability to apply these principles to solve real-world problems, developments in Deep Learning and Language Modeling, especially Generative AI and Large Language Models.
• Open to feedback and eager to learn, grow and improve
• Friendly but not afraid to speak their mind when necessary
