Kotlin Developer

Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Kotlin Tech Lead to join our team in Amsterdam. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Kotlin development, hands-on experience in leading technical teams, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of Kotlin developers, providing technical guidance and support.
• Drive the design, development, and deployment of robust Kotlin-based applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, architects, and QA engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Ensure adherence to coding best practices, performance standards, and secure coding guidelines.
• Review code, identify improvements, and maintain code quality across the team.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and Kotlin ecosystem enhancements.

Essential Skills:

• Proven experience as a Tech Lead in Kotlin-based projects.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin for backend or Android development.
• Deep understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and clean architecture.
• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, version control (Git), and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Desirable Skills:

• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Java and interoperability between Kotlin and Java codebases.
