DevOps Engineer

Job Role: DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes Expert)

Job Location: Bioggio, Switzerland

Mode of Working: Contract and Onsite

Must-Have (skills): Modern Application Development-DevOps-API-Kubernetes

• Deploy Kubernetes and Client's applications, Kubernetes, Terraform.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in K8 & Docker technology.

Good to have:

• Development and testing new features and versions of K8
• OpenShift and Kubernetes administration, Terraform, GitOps.
• Development of automation to improve the efficiency and quality of the K8 setup
• Experience in test-driven development CI/CD pipelines and Python
• Advanced experience in Linux administration and large setups
• Advanced hands-on knowledge in at least some of the solutions used in the cloud platforms such as OpenStack.
• Advanced Experience in automation tools like Ansible, Puppet and Terraform
• Experience on Open stack is appreciated

Technical Skills:

• Will be responsible for designing, installation, configuration and Maintenance of the Kubernetes Infrastructure and ensuring the availability and performance of Kubernetes PODs.
• To Create the container infrastructure platform
• Designing and implementing solutions
• Enhancing delivery systems with Continuous Integration
• Deploying, monitoring the applications in a Kubernetes environment
• Configuring hardware, services, managing settings and storage
• Improve the monitoring and alert system
• Automating the provisioning of environments: cooking up some recipes with Ansible and deploying environments using containers.
• Configuring hardware, services, managing settings and storage
• Complete understanding of all underlying infra of K8 setup, preparing the detailed plan for upgrade underlying infra.
• Troubleshooting the Applications installed in K8 Setup.
