Position: Fullstack Developer (Backend-Focused, Django Expert)

Key Responsibilities:

* Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Django and Django REST Framework, with a strong focus on scalability and performance.

* Architect and build RESTful APIs to support our web and mobile platforms, ensuring seamless integration with frontend components.

* Take responsibility for the end-to-end development cycle, from technical design and implementation to deployment and monitoring.

* Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and frontend developers to understand user needs and deliver high-impact features.

* Maintain and optimize database design and data storage solutions, primarily using PostgreSQL or MySQL.

* Ensure the security, performance, and maintainability of the backend codebase.

* Contribute to fast-paced development cycles, adapting quickly to changing requirements and new technologies.

* Take ownership of deploying and managing applications in AWS environments, leveraging tools like EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.

* Utilize frontend frameworks like React and Next.js, to contribute to the development of frontend web applications.

Qualifications:

* 2+ years of hands-on experience with Django and Django REST Framework in a production environment.

* Strong backend development skills, with a deep understanding of Python and web frameworks.

* Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs with a focus on performance and security.

* Proficiency in relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL, including complex query optimization.

* Familiarity with frontend frameworks like React and Next.js, with the ability to contribute to the frontend as needed.

* Experience working in tech startups or social media environments is a strong plus.

* Knowledge of version control systems, especially Git.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tackling technical challenges.

* Ability to adapt to fast-paced development cycles and work both independently and collaboratively.

Desirable Skills:

* Experience with AWS infrastructure and deployment practices, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and API Gateway.

* Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization tools like Docker.

* Understanding of serverless architectures and microservices.

* Knowledge of GraphQL.

* Prior experience with frontend state management libraries like Redux.
