About the team + role

The Deploy Experience team’s mission is to enable seamless, efficient and high confidence deployments. We build platforms and tools for the Engineering org and provide guardrails and ensure that we’re catching issues left of production. We aim to enable all teams to shift towards continuously deploying their changes.

We are hiring a Software Developer to join the team and help bring that vision to a reality.

What You’ll Do

• Design large-scale systems within the team, making the right tradeoffs for risk and long-term maintainability
• Set up and drive technical directions of the project
• Find opportunities to improve system performance, team productivity and reduce risk
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver large-scope technical projects
  
  

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or related technical fields and 3+ years of experience in the industry
• Strong coding skills with demonstrated proficiency in programming languages, such as Java, Python, Go, or similar languages
• Great problem solving skills with ability to dive into and navigate existing complex systems
• Experience with CI/CD, release engineering, developer tooling or test automation framework development is a plus
• Experience with Kubernetes, Argo, Spinnaker, Terraform is a plus

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood’s equity plan.
