SENIOR .NET CORE ENGINEER

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior .NET Core Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Ukraine. Our client is a leading online training provider. Requirements

5+ years of experience as a .NET Core Engineer or similar position.
Experience in .NET Core/C# and JavaScript development.
Experience with React and front-end development.
Understanding of microservices, service-oriented development, and cloud-based architectures.
Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools.
Knowledge of web standards for APIs (OAuth, SSL, CORS, JWT, etc.).
Knowledge of continuous integration and release management tools.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process, with a strong understanding of Scrum practices.
Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
Proficiency in SCM tools like Git, Subversion, and JIRA.
Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or a related field.

Nice To Have

Familiarity with DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

Develop and enhance the course player component using .NET Core and React.
Implement microservices for various backend functionalities.
Design and develop software applications, including project prototypes, proofs of concept, and client demos.
Work collaboratively with UI/UX teams to ensure a consistent and engaging user experience.
Provide critical thinking and technical innovation to enhance product quality.
Conduct design and code reviews for key application components.
Communicate effectively, including active listening and comprehending complex system requirements.
Coordinate schedules, task assignments, and progress updates with the product owner and team members.
Participate in and contribute to Scrum meetings, including sprints, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups. If needed, take on Scrum Master responsibilities to facilitate these sessions and ensure effective Agile practices.
Drive the development effort for on-time delivery of high-quality solutions.
Ensure the scalability and reliability of the course player.
Maintain high standards of code quality and enforce best practices through code reviews.
