Project Manager

Join our dynamic Commodities and Global Markets team at Macquarie, where we leverage our expertise to provide comprehensive solutions across a diverse range of commodities and financial markets. Our Central Change and Project Management team is responsible for the governance and management of Commodities and Global Market’s change portfolio and the delivery of various cross-divisional projects.

What role will you play?

You will project manage a recently launched client onboarding project which will streamline the process for the Commodities and Global Markets’ relationship managers and improve client experience. The enhanced platform will ensure Commodities and Global Markets operates within risk appetite, meets regulatory expectations and has the scalability to support future business growth.

You will be responsible for developing key project artefacts, reporting, and support the execution of change management activities where required. You may also collaborate with the Commodities and Global Markets businesses and other Macquarie teams to identify and execute project opportunities.

What You Offer

• 5+ years of experience in a project manager role, preferably within financial services
• Ability to coordinate multiple assignments and work independently
• Strong risk management and control mindset
• Proven track record managing RAIDs, project budgets and benefit management
• A flexible, proactive, solution-oriented approach
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate, lead and influence a project team of indirect reports.
• Prince2 or PMI qualifications are an advantage.
