DevOps Engineer - Overview

We are working with a lead Gaming organisation looking for an experienced engineer to manage our Kubernetes infrastructure, both in the cloud and on-site. You will set up, run, and maintain Amazon EKS and EKS Anywhere clusters, implement GitOps CI/CD pipelines with ArgoCD, and automate deployment processes to ensure reliability and scalability.

DevOps Engineer - Requirements:

• Operate and improve EKS and EKSA clusters for maximum availability and performance
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitOps principles and ArgoCD
• Use infrastructure-as-code tools (like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Helm) to automate provisioning, scaling, and monitoring
• Identify and fix issues affecting Kubernetes performance, security, and stability
• Work closely with developers to streamline deployment workflows
• Set up observability tools for metrics, logging, and alerts; lead incident response efforts
• Follow and enforce best practices for security and operations in container environments

DevOps Engineer – Required Skills:

• 8–12 years in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering roles
• Strong hands-on experience with Amazon EKS and EKS Anywhere (EKSA)
• Proven use of GitOps tools (ArgoCD, FluxCD, or Jenkins X)
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes networking, RBAC, and security
• Expertise in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Helm)
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or New Relic)
• Proficient scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go
• Good knowledge of related AWS services (IAM, VPC, Load Balancers)
