Game Developer - Circa £50k - Remote


A client of ours are on the look out for a Games Developer who would be joining a leading supplier of gambling games, systems and machines to the UK and Worldwide gambling markets.

Overview of role

To develop, help coordinate the creation of, and ensure the timely completion of C# game engines, as part of an experienced and growing Game development team.


Experience and skill set:


  • Having worked in a software development role working in the .NET ecosystem.
  • Highly competent in modern C# and the .NET ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with Git source control system.
  • Understanding of mathematical principles.
  • JavaScript
  • The Linux command Linux
  • Powershell and Bash scripting
  • Docker
  • Using a modern browser’s net-work debug features.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Game Engine Development
  • Develop game engines for gambling games (slots) according to the Game Specification, while consistently following the company’s software best practices.
  • Collaboration with Senior Game Producer
  • Work closely with the Senior Game Producer to support the creation of technical and statistical specifications, develop efficient implementation methods, and run simulators to aid in the mathematical design of games.
  • Coordination with Front-End Team
  • Collaborate with the Front-End team to ensure the timely production of complete game engines, delivered in the correct order and format for integration into the game.
  • Work with QA Team
  • Address bugs and issues promptly, ensuring a high level of quality with a focus on achieving first-time fixes.
  • Team Collaboration
  • Collaborate with the broader development team to resolve overarching software issues and contribute to the innovation of new methodologies for game development, with the consent and support of the wider team.
  • Project and Deadline Management
  • Maintain a clear understanding of the product roadmap, recognizing the logistical and commercial implications of missing project deadlines.
