Game Developer - Circa £50k - Remote
A client of ours are on the look out for a Games Developer who would be joining a leading supplier of gambling games, systems and machines to the UK and Worldwide gambling markets.

Experience and skill set:
- Having worked in a software role creating graphical video-based applications.
- Highly competent in C++.
- Familiar with DirectX environments.
- Familiar with code repositories such as SVN / Git.
- Understanding of mathematical principles
Primary Responsibilities:
- Game Development
- The candidate will be responsible for programming video-based machine gambling games in line with the Game Specification, always following the company’s established software best practices.
- Collaboration with Senior Game Producer
- They will work alongside the Senior Game Producer to support the creation of technical and statistical specifications, optimize graphical presentation methods, and run simulators to aid in the mathematical construction of games.
- Coordination with Graphics Team
- The individual will collaborate with the Graphics team to ensure timely production of art assets, delivered in the correct order and format suitable for game integration.
- Engage with QA Team
- They will work with the QA team to resolve bugs and issues efficiently, focusing on delivering high-quality, first-time fixes.
- Team Collaboration
- Working closely with the development team, they will address broader software issues and help innovate new methods for game development with the support of the wider team.
- Product Roadmap Awareness
- The candidate will have a strong understanding of the product roadmap and be mindful of the commercial and logistical consequences of missing project deadlines.
