JOB DESCRIPTION:
Client is seeking a Network & Telephony Systems Coordinator responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating the operation of LAN/WAN networks and telephony systems. This role involves managing communication with external ICT suppliers and ensuring a high-quality, customer-oriented service.
The candidate will play a key role in optimizing telecommunications infrastructure, ensuring effective collaboration between internal teams and external service providers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Network & Telephony Systems Management
- Oversee the proper functioning and expansion of the LAN/WAN network and telephony systems.
- Generate reports on call center system usage by Client’s customers for customer services.
- Provide reports on telephony system usage to higher management.
- Manage the creation and administration of call center and telephony messages.
2. External ICT Supplier Coordination
- Monitor and manage contracts related to telephony and network services, ensuring conflict resolution.
- Conduct service meetings with external suppliers regarding network (LAN/WAN), telephony, and call center operations.
- Participate in operational meetings with ICT employees from infrastructure & operations departments.
- Organize consultations with telephone managers, customer service managers, and IT SPOCs.
- Review and approve supplier invoices.
3. System Documentation & Change Management
- Monitor and update system documentation, ensuring quality assurance.
- Document changes according to change management processes.
- Track external documentation to ensure compliance with standards.
- Maintain records of incident management and problem resolution.
- Prepare user manuals and instructional materials, providing necessary training on applications.
4. Configuration Management Database (CMDB) Maintenance
- Maintain CBs (Configuration Baselines) and associated documentation.
- Assist in evaluating the impact of changes for requesters and administrators.
5. Project Management for Infrastructure Sub-Projects
- Actively participate in infrastructure-related projects, ensuring technical accuracy.
- Analyze interactions between different systems at a high level to optimize integrations.
Technical Expertise
- Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN networks and telephony systems.
- Experience in system documentation, quality assurance, and incident management.
- Understanding of CMDB processes and infrastructure change management.
