We are looking for a Data Scientist whose main task is to model data for predictions and help Airpro build technical capabilities for data-driven management. The person will work closely with business functions, modeling data and helping them to understand it, as well as defining key figures. We are looking for a person who is possibly at the beginning of their career and wants to develop their skills in an interesting and challenging environment, with the latest tools and techniques. In our dynamic team, you will also get to use your skills in data engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Data analysis and building predictive models
• Developing technical capabilities for data-driven management
• Supporting business functions in reporting needs and defining key figures
• Processing and visualizing data, building ETL pipelines

Requirements: 

• Strong skills in data analysis and building predictive models
• Data-driven and analytical mindset
• Ability to interpret insights found in data and identify trends
• Good interpersonal skills
• Skills in Finnish or English language
• Knowledge of SQL databases and proficiency in Python programming language
• Experience with machine learning algorithms and their application to practical business

Considered as an advantage:

• Experience with cloud services, especially Azure
• Good Excel skills
• Understanding Databricks and Fabric platforms
• Utilizing artificial intelligence
