Position Overview: 

VEV Platform Services France, a subsidiary of VEV and wholly owned by Vitol, a world leader in energy, is looking for a talented Front End Developer with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience. In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging, responsive, and high-performing user interfaces for our Charge Point Management System (CPMS) and our dedicated mobile app. VEV is seeking a versatile candidate with a willingness to learn and adapt. While expertise in most areas is preferred, we value the ability to contribute across various aspects of the project. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain front end applications using Angular to ensure smooth, efficient, and high-quality user experiences.
• Build and optimize mobile applications with React Native for both Android and iOS platforms. 
• Collaborate closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and facilitate seamless interaction with microservices. 
• Write clean, modular, and efficient code while continuously monitoring performance and usability. 
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to system architecture discussions, and support continuous integration and deployment. 
• Ensure adherence to industry best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines throughout the development process. 

Skills and Experience: 

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; master’s degree preferred – will consider other applicants with significant development experience. 
• 2+ years of front end development experience with a strong focus on Angular. 
• Proficient in building mobile applications using React Native. 
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web development practices. 
• Experience with Git, GitHub actions and CI/CD pipelines. 
• Proficiency in understanding EV charging challenges and electricity constraints is a plus. 
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. 
• Familiarity with the OCPP and OCPI protocols is a plus. 
• Ability to collaborate effectively with  cross-functional teams, particularly with backend developers.
• Fluency in English is a must.
