Position


We are looking for a Senior HMI UI Software Designer to join our IoT team, specializing in designing and developing user interfaces (UI) for industrial touch displays (HMI). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web technologies and be capable of architecting reusable UI libraries while defining the structure of various interface modules, both in terms of layout and technical implementation. This role requires a mix of technical expertise and UI/UX design skills to create intuitive and high-performance interfaces for industrial applications.


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop modular and reusable UI libraries to ensure consistency and scalability across different HMI applications.
  • Define and implement the architecture of UI modules, focusing on both visual layout and technical structure.
  • Design and develop responsive and interactive user interfaces optimized for industrial touch displays.
  • Ensure UI performance and responsiveness in resource-constrained environments.
  • Collaborate with the project team to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Maintain clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, following best practices.


Requirements


  • Web Development: Excellent knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and CSS, with practical experience in at least one of the following frameworks: React, Svelte or Angular.
  • Component-Based Development: Experience in building reusable UI components and libraries for scalable applications.
  • Development Tools: Proficiency with code editors such as Visual Studio Code or WebStorm.
  • Version Control & Task Management: Hands-on experience with GitLab, GitHub for versioning and Jira, Trello or similar tools for task management.
  • UI/UX Prototyping: Proficiency with prototyping tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch to define and test UI concepts.
  • Node.js: Good knowledge of Node.js and best development practices.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to tackle technical challenges creatively and effectively.
  • Teamwork & Communication: Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and communicate ideas clearly and constructively.
  • UX/UI Principles: Solid understanding of user experience (UX) design and how to apply it to create functional and visually effective interfaces.
  • English Language: Good command of spoken and written English for communication with international teams.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related fields.
  • Previous experience developing UI for industrial touch displays (HMI) or similar applications.
