Frontend Developer

As a frontend developer, you’ll be working in an agile team and building next generation solutions for our ecommerce platform.

Main Responsibilities:

TechnicalExcellence:

• Providetechnicalconsultationonfrontend-relatedtopics,includingperformanceoptimizationandscalability.
• Contributetofrontendarchitecture,ensuringcleanandmaintainablecodeusingbest practices.
• Participateintheadoption ofa designsystem,ensuringconsistency and reusabilityacrossUI components.

Code Quality&BestPractices:

• Conductcode reviewstomaintain high-qualitystandardsand improveteamknowledge.
• Followbest-in-classdevelopmentprinciples,includingCleanCode,TDD,andBDD.
• Implementaccessibility(a11y)bestpracticesandensureUI/UX consistency.

Collaboration:

• WorkwithUX/UIdesignerstotranslatedesignsystem componentsintoscalable,reusablefrontendsolutions.
• Fosteracollaborativeandknowledge-sharingculturewithintheteam.

Innovation &Continuous Improvement:

• InvestigateemergingfrontendtechnologiesandbuildProofofConcept(PoC)functionalities.
• PromoteCI/CDautomationandbestpracticesforcontinuousdeployment.
• Supportcross-browser andcross-devicecompatibilitytestingtoensureseamlessuserexperiences.

Qualifications & Skills:

Professional qualification:

• 2+ years proven track record in this role preferably in an international and multicultural environment working in classing and virtual teams.
• Strong experience working in Agile methodologies (Scrum, XP) and DevOps environments.

Professional skills & abilities:

• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across teams.
• Analytical, creative, and proactive problem solver.
• Able to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Technical skills:

Core Development Expertise:

• Strong fundamentals in software design & development.
• Technology-agnostic mindset, adaptable to different frameworks and libraries.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript with expertise in React. (Next.js is a plus)
• Experience in unit testing (Jest, React Testing Library, etc.).
• Deep understanding of semantic HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts.
• Familiarity with CSS preprocessors & frameworks (SCSS, Styled Components, Tailwind CSS).

Software Architecture & DevOps:

• Experience with architecture design patterns and software craftsmanship principles (Clean Code, Clean Architecture).
• Familarity with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.

Design System & UX Collaboration:

• Understanding of UX/UI principles and experience implementing design systems.
• Familiarity with wireframe and prototyping tools (Figma, Abstract).

Performance & Optimization:

• Understanding of frontend performance tuning, cross-browser testing, and accessibility (a11y).
• Knowledge of SEO best practices.
