Opportunity to progress your career at a global leading sports data technology company that provide B2B real-time data services to betting operators, sports teams and organisations, media outlets and fantasy sports leagues.

As an Engineering Lead you will manage a team of six Software Engineers working on complex mathematical betting odds calculations systems and client portals, enabling everything from event and odds creation to market monitoring and result confirmation.

You'll support the team, provide technical leadership and promote personal growth and career progression whilst also remaining in close contact with the code and technology, setting best practices within a TDD environment.

Collaborating with the Product Owner you'll help to set and ensure delivery of the product roadmap, building high performance services utilising real-time data collected 24/7 for over 30 different sports.

Location / WFH:

You'll join the team in the beautiful location of Trondheim, Norway, with free parking and indoor bike parking and flexibility to work from home twice a week; there's a social team environment with regular team events.

About you:

• You are an experienced Software Engineer / Developer with strong Java (or other OO backend language skills e.g. C#, C++, Python, Golang)
• You have leadership and mentoring experience
• You have strong TDD (Test Driven Development) experience and a deep understanding of modern clean code software engineering best practices
• You enjoy complex problem solving, technical discussions and have a test first mindset
• You're collaborative, keen to mentor and help others advance their technical skills
• You are delivery focussed and used to collaborating with Product Owners in Agile development environments working with product roadmaps
• You have fluent English language skills
