Key Responsibilities
Payroll Management:
- Administer and oversee end-to-end payroll processing for 500+ employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Partner with finance and accounting teams to reconcile payroll, manage year-end reporting (W-2s, 1099s), and support audits.
- Implement payroll system upgrades and integrations (ADP, Workday, Paychex, or similar platforms) to improve efficiency and reporting capabilities.
- Maintain payroll records, track garnishments, benefits deductions, and ensure proper tax withholdings.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to management and staff on complex employee relations issues including conflict resolution, performance management, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Conduct investigations and recommend actions that align with company policy and labor law.
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to improve morale and reduce turnover.
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures, fostering a fair and respectful workplace.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for a wide range of roles including executive, technical, and high-volume positions.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to develop job descriptions, screening criteria, and interview strategies.
- Utilize sourcing strategies including job boards, LinkedIn, social media, and employee referrals to attract top talent.
- Lead onboarding processes to ensure smooth integration and retention of new hires.
