Assistant Bar Manager

Located in the former Ministry of Interior building, The Ned Doha offers seven restaurants, 90 bedrooms, event venues, and Ned’s Club, a private members’ club that gives access to spaces including a rooftop terrace, a health club with spa, gym and 30m outdoor pool.

Job Purpose:

We're looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Bar Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our signature bar. This role is perfect for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced, upscale environment and is committed to delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing all bar operations, ensuring smooth service and a luxurious atmosphere
• Supervise, train, and motivate bar staff to maintain the highest standards of hospitality and product knowledge
• Work closely with the Restaurant Manager on menu development, inventory control, and supplier management
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, licensing laws, and internal SOPs
• Lead by example in delivering exceptional guest service, resolving issues with professionalism and poise
• Monitor sales and implement strategies to exceed revenue targets
  
  

Qualifications & Competencies:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a luxury hotel or high-end bar
• Deep knowledge of mixology, premium spirits, wines, and cocktails
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team
• Exceptional communication and organizational abilities
• A passion for guest service and a sharp eye for detail
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
