We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Python Engineer to join our team in Lviv/Kyiv!

About the job:

We’re looking for a Python Backend Engineer to develop and optimize API layers that wrap around ML models. This role sits at the intersection of backend systems and machine learning infrastructure. You'll design APIs, improve system architecture, and ensure smooth deployment of machine learning services.

What You'll get to do:

Design and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
Optimize backend performance and scalability.
Implement CI/CD workflows and monitoring solutions.
Write unit, integration, and load tests in collaboration with QA team.
Handle exception management and QA for ML services.
Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
Support Airflow pipelines for model and data orchestration.

What You need to know:

Degree in Computer Science or Mathematics or equivalent.
2–3 years of experience in Python backend development.
Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and integration.
Experience working with Flask/FastAPI in high-load systems.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
Experience with Docker and containerization.
Solid understanding of programming paradigms (OOP, functional).
Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with ML/AI model integration in production.
Familiarity with Apache Airflow for orchestration.
Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability best practices.

Tech Stack: Python, FastAPI, Flask, SQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Apache Airflow, GCP.
