Shopify Engineer (Full-stack)

We’re seeking a talented Full-Stack Shopify Engineer to join our team. You’ll work closely with our tech lead to develop and maintain automations, integrate third-party services, and enhance our platform’s functionality. Key Responsibilities

● Shopify Development: Customize and optimize our Shopify store, including themes

and apps.

● Automation Workflows: Implement and refine automation processes using Shopify

Flow and other tools.

● Third-Party Integrations: Integrate services like RealID for KYC procedures and

SealSubscriptions for rental options.

● Backend Development: Develop and manage backend functions using Firebase

Functions, AWS Amplify or similar technologies.

● Process Streamlining: Collaborate on improving business processes — from order

placement to contract signing and beyond.

● External Systems Integration: Work on integrating our platform with suppliers, delivery

partners, and other external systems.

● Document Management: Organize and manage customer documents and artifacts,

possibly using Google Drive APIs.

● Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise.

● Stay Updated: Keep up with the latest trends and best practices in Shopify development

and e-commerce.

What We’re Looking For

● Experience: Solid experience with Shopify development, including Liquid templating,

custom themes, and app development.

● Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript (Node.js + TypeSctipt), HTML, CSS, and

familiarity with frontend frameworks.

● Automation Expertise: Hands-on experience with Shopify Flow and automating

business processes.

● Backend Knowledge: Experience with Firebase Functions or similar backend

technologies.

● API Integration: Proven ability to integrate third-party APIs and services.

● KYC Familiarity: Understanding of KYC procedures and tools like RealID.

● Subscription Models: Experience with subscription services and apps like

SealSubscriptions.

● Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

● Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English/Ukrainian).

● Adaptability: Comfortable working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced

environment.

Bonus Points For

● Industry Experience: Familiarity with the rent-to-own business model.

● Document Management: Experience with Google Drive API or similar for document

organization.

● Local Knowledge: Understanding of employment verification processes, especially

within the Romanian ANAF system.

● E-commerce Insights: Awareness of current e-commerce trends and best practices.
