PHP Developer (Laravel)

We are currently expanding our internal development team and are looking for an experienced PHP Developer with a solid background in Laravel.

🔹 Why this role is open

This position is part of our strategic team expansion due to:

• Growth of internal products, primarily our custom-built CRM system;
• Increased involvement in outsourced client projects: websites, web services, etc.

We are a fast-growing tech company working across three core areas:

• Product Development (internal tools & platforms);
• Outsourced Projects (external client development);
• Outstaffing (integrated developer teams for partners).

• Develop and maintain scalable backend solutions using PHP (Laravel);
• Participate in the architecture and design of backend systems;
• Integrate third-party services and APIs;
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code;
• Collaborate with frontend developers and QA team;
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues;
• Create unit tests and technical documentation (Swagger, Open API).

• 3+ years of experience in PHP development;
• Strong knowledge of Laravel;
• Good understanding of OOP, SOLID, MVC and REST APIs;
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and database optimization;
• Experience with queues and background jobs (e.g., Laravel Queues, Redis, RabbitMQ);
• Familiarity with Docker, Git, CI/CD tools;
• Experience writing unit tests and maintaining API documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI);
• Experience with Elasticsearch;
• English - Intermediate level or higher (spoken and written);
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

🔹 Will be a plus

• Experience with other PHP frameworks: Symfony, Yii2, etc.;
• Experience with other programming languages (e.g., Node.js, Go, Python);
• Experience with other relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB);
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure);
• Basic understanding of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

• The team of BramblingTech is located in the roomy and cozy office on Dobrovolciv street in front of Victory`s Park in Odesa.

• Work schedule from 9.00/10.00 till 18.00/19.00 and 1 hour for lunch.
