What You Will Work On

• Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code
• Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable and reliable Kotlin code
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of the application
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
  
  

What You Bring

• University and/or Postgraduate Degree in a relevant field
• Relevant experience in software development
• Experience in launching one or more Android apps, currently available on Google Play will be considered as an advantage
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
• Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components
• Understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
• Constantly learn, improve on your skills, share knowledge and adapt to processes and convention
  
  

Desired Technical Skills

• 4+ years of Android software development
• 1+ years of Kotlin software development will be considered as a huge advantage
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• Programming Experience interfacing with server APIs via JSON
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
• Familiarity with functional programming principles
• Familiarity in algorithms and complexity
