AWS DevOps Engineer

Excellent opportunity for AWS DevOps Engineer to be part of our Cloud Infrastructure & Security services practice. Cognizant Infrastructure Services – Provides IT infrastructure & Cloud services for clients across industry verticals, including both Consulting/Professional and Managed Services, across Enterprise Computing, Cloud services, Security Services, DevOps, Data Centres, End User Computing, Service Desk, Network Services and Environment Management Services.

Key Responsibilities :

• Act as SME for AWS services such as EC2, VPC, RDS, ELB, Route 53, EFS, S3, and Athena.
• Configuration Management and Version control System using Ansible and GIT
• Containerization and Orchestration using tools such as dockers and Kurbernetes
• Deployment and automation using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, and CodeDeploy
• Responsible for DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Monitoring & Observability using monitoring solutions like AppDynamics and CloudWatch for proactive system health monitoring.
• Troubleshooting Java/JVM applications, heap dump analysis, handled memory leakage issues

Key Skills and Experience :

• AWS Cloud Services: Hands-on experience with key AWS services such as EC2, VPC, RDS, ELB, Route 53, EFS, S3, and Athena.
• Version Control System: GIT
• Configuration Management Tools: Ansible
• Containerization: Docker
• Orchestration tools: Kubernetes
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Tools: Terraform, AWS CloudFormation
• DevOps CI/CD: Proficiency in CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitHub, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, and CodeDeploy for streamlined deployment and automation.
• Monitoring & Observability: Familiarity with monitoring solutions like AppDynamics and CloudWatch for proactive system health monitoring.
• Ticketing & Collaboration Tools: Experience with Jira and ServiceNow for incident management and collaboration.
• Operating Systems: Strong expertise in Linux; familiarity with Windows OS is a plus.
• Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, and Python.
• Experience in Troubleshooting Java/JVM applications, heap dump analysis, handled memory leakage issues
