Exoscale is hiring a software engineer to join our storage team to work on the design and implementation of additional capabilities. You'll be part of the effort to improve and scale our core distributed storage backend, focusing on the scalability, reliability and throughput of the system while keeping durability as our main priority. This backend is powering our object storage and block storage offerings, both core products of the Exoscale catalog.

Some Of The Challenges You Will Be Working On

• Maintain and improve our orchestration system: handling cluster visibility, health management and reconciliation
• Maintain and improve our data storage agent: handling customer requests and processing replication tasks
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
• Participate in code & changes reviews
• Take part in the on-call rotation after a training period
  
  

Ideal Candidates Will

• Have experience with cloud infrastructure
• Have experience with designing, building and operating distributed systems
• Have experience with Go and gRPC, or equivalent
• Have experience working with SQL data stores
• Have a good understanding of the operating system storage landscape
• Have an eye for performance and monitoring
