Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced AI Integration Engineer to join a leading insurance company in Brussels on a freelance basis. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for the deployment and integration of AI chatbot services into complex insurance systems. This includes managing the infrastructure, automation workflows, and security of both development and production environments. You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliable delivery of GenAI-powered services that support life and pension insurance agents.

Key Responsibilities

• API Engineering & System Integration
• Design and implement secure APIs for seamless communication between GenAI services and insurance back-end platforms. Develop event-driven microservices to expose AI capabilities efficiently.
• Cloud Deployment & DevOps Automation
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for regular updates of machine learning models and chatbot deployments. Automate infrastructure deployments using AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) and container technologies.
• Infrastructure Security & System Monitoring
• Implement security best practices, including OAuth 2.0, Zero Trust principles, and rate limiting. Create monitoring tools to track infrastructure reliability and chatbot system performance.

Technical Skills & Tools

Preferred Certifications

• AZ-400: Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
